OUR PHILOSOPHY
Bloom Dance Company
was founded in 2024
after three long-time colleagues and friends had the opportunity to purchase the existing studio that first connected them: Escalate Dance and Theatre Studio (2004-2024).
With a vision and excitement for the new project, backed by the enthusiasm and support of the current staff and families, we began as Bloom Dance Company in July 2024.
Katie, Lauren and Kara grew up among the arts opportunities in the Northwest suburbs. Katie and Lauren spent their entire childhood in the competitive dance world. Kara was a theatre kid and voice student, growing up around musical theatre and choral programs. All 3 have a love for performance, while also feeling deeply rooted to the interpersonal skills that arts education gave them and that they use in their adult lives every single day.
Dance can sometimes feel like a sport that stops as our bodies age and change. We also aim to make Bloom a place for adults to reconnect with their artistic selves, make time to learn something new, and connect with their kids while in the studio.
OUR MISSION
Create a dynamic place where students are welcomed, encouraged and pushed to be their best selves through their interaction with dance. Helping students reach their goals and passion for success is what we strive for. We foster an environment that marries the joy of dancing with quality dance education. Our student-first approach means that we listen and take time to understand each students needs and provide them with opportunities to challenge themselves, learn, lead and build community.
